New Product: Sea Salt Scrub

Here's our new sea salt scrub. It took a while to get the consistency right - not too oily, just gritty enough (not like the gravel-sized salt in some other scrubs), with a light essential oil fragrance (in this case, the same as our Sweetgrass #8 Candle). We'll be adding this to our line this fall.

Testing out a potential shelf display - a slightly different configuration of our "sample box". The boxes are constructed/finished here in the factory. With room for 5 candles, the box with candles could also be a "gift set"

Topanga Days 2013

Fun, hippies, food and freaks. What more do you need? Topanga's annual blowout didn't disappoint, with perfect weather, great music and lots of interesting "folk". 

Fragrance Sampler - Retail Display

Here's another version of our "apothecary cabinet" retail display. Each screw-top bottle carries a wax/fragrance from the candle formulas. The hardwood box is constructed, finished and aged by hand in our studio, and each is a unique piece. It's velvet lined and features custom brass parts. It nicely fits 10 bottles (too bad we have 11 formulas!).

Farm To Table

Stopped by my friend Brandon's farm in Topanga. Aside from fresh vegetables, peacocks, alpacas, goats and ducks, he's got a great farm-to-table dinner club starting up again this spring.
