This formula came as a result of a long quest to find essential oils that are sweet, but not floral (like a “berry” scent). After a good deal of experimentation, I concocted this blend, which has a subtle sweetness with a hint of grassiness. Cardamom, the Indian spice is the magic ingredient. Formula #8 is my tribute to Earth Day, as it reminds me of sitting on the grassy hilltop in Topanga for a day of music and sunshine in the spring. by coincidence, it also took me 8 months from that warm spring day to come up with the right fragrance to capture this memory.
